JACKSONVILLE — Rockledge High flirted with a state track and field championship on Saturday, but after a drop to third, the girls 4x400-meter relay delivered for a team runner-up finish. The relay of Kaira Simmons, Danielle Phillips, Jayla Reeves and Terra Edwards turned in a fifth-place time of 4:00.95, one spot better than they needed to pass Pine Crest for second at the Class 2A state track and field meet.
